100% GC chard from le Mesnil sur Oger, Oger and Avize. 20% from reserves aged 3 months in oak; 80% from base year vinified in steel. Today�s delivery. Funny, but acidity here is lower than expected after all the CTs here. Slight bitter finish making it only 90-91. Base is 2014 here. Maybe needs few days to relax Like it more on day 2. Adjusting the score a notch. Bitter finish is gone. Nice sweetness. This might even go up more with time. I am even more puzzled about acidity comments here now. It�s actually a quite full bodied wine�

Drunk for Christmas' Eve. No TN, from memory. Fine elegant nose. On the palate this shows sharp and firm, bordering on austere (it feels more like zero dosage than extra brut), with a light bitter note on the finish. Fine overall but enjoyment goes through the head more than through the senses.

Opened by Mark and purchased in France. Previously had a few bottles of this in 2020 from an earlier bottling. Disgorged February 2023. This was an extra brut and 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay. Some bitterness upfront. Notes of apple and charcoal. Fine bead. Fruity finish. 90 points.

Very good NV bdb. Really nice energy and lift, opened up nicely. Enjoyable!

Toller reiner Chardonnay Champagner. Etwas Brioche. Frisch. Grapefruit. Wei�er Pfirsich. Leicht zu trinken. Nicht wahnsinnig komplex. Macht richtig Spa�.

Disgorged May '22. Lighter color. The nose shows fresh aromas of brioche, minerals, white flowers and orchard fruits. This is almost medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and real class. The fairly long finish features a strong mineral element and fresh acidity.

Prima bottiglia cena da Selosse ad Avize. Ottimo Blanc del Blanc dal territorio di Mesnil che rimane sempre uno dei miei preferiti. Degorgement 03/22. Colore oro cristallino pallido. Al naso agrumato di pompelmo e note di mandorla e dopo un po' vaniglia e brioche tostata con buona mineralit�. Anche in bocca minerale, salino e cremoso. Buona persistenza

Very impressive and what a qpr! Candied lemon, coffee and chocolate. Complex, fresh and long.

2002 vintage

Short note. Ultra dry and clean. Bright citrus and crispy stone fruits, apples and grey pear, minerals and salt. Sharp cut and very fine mousse. Mouthwatering and steely with high acidity. I highly enjoyed this zero (at least extra dry) dosage Blanc de Blancs tonight.

Nose is pear and apple crumble, a really lovely sort of pie crust thing going on. Light body, super crisp and bright. More ripe apple and some rhubarb, electric acidity. This is killer. By far the best of the Vernon lineup imo.

Fresh with nice minerality. Good aperitif.

Disgorged on 10 October 2019. Floral notes, citrus, stone fruit, apple, bread crust, almond paste, mineral notes, and a hint of smoke, with crisp acidity and a lightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied and well-balanced. The finish is medium to long.
