At Restaurant Eternal Blue, Nana Princess Hotel, Crete, Greece. Floral notes, pear, acacia, yeast, dried herbs, salty notes, light minerality, and a touch of spice, with medium level acidity and average to good length. Medium- to light-bodied, and medium complex. Benefited from aeration and drank well.

£7 by the glass at 67 Pall Mall, somm recommendation to accompany the Greek salad. Very interesting and enjoyable. Smoky volcanic mineral, candied lemon peel and a honeyed richness but not at all sweet, really terrific with the salad.

Very interesting, although I would give an edge to Pirovolikes Vilana. Candied lemon peels over wet rocks on the nose. The mouth shows less ripeness than the nose suggests with good minerality and medium acidity. Very nice.

The nose shows low intensity, mostly floral notes, ripe citrus, lemon, lime. The palate is more interesting, mineral, shows depth, textured, med finish, the fruit is on the ripe side (maybe some residual sugar?). Interesting, to have on its own or with food
