Decent wine - light bodied and concentrated, simple, a bit oaky and buttery for my taste...probably a few dollars over priced because of the maker. Got a few bottles Ill have no problem popping open on a weekday, ready to drink off the bat. 89 CT rating seems spot on to me.

Eðalklúbbur, vínsmakk #1 haust 2019 (Bólstaðarhlíð 29) : Þetta vín var valið til að prófa lyktarsettið. Frekar ljóst á litinn. Mjög fjólublátt. Ungt. Sokkar, kirsuber, krydd, pipar og möndlur voru meðal þess sem menn fundu í ilminum. Mjög sýrumikið þegar bragðað á því. Hey, súrmjölk, kaffikorgur, kaffi, brennisteinn og gúmmí komu síðan fram þegar smakkað var á víninu. Líka jarðartónar. Þetta er vín sem þarf mat með sér. Svínahnakki til dæmis myndi henta vel held ég.

Delicious little dolcetto. Signature cherries with some plump juicy tannin to back it up. A little sweeter than I’d have liked maybe due to a warmer vintage but this is definitely a ‘bang for your buck’ wine!
