Still going strong. Good with food or by itself. What a bargain.

In the light, a very pretty, clear ruby. Raspberry, vanilla, and gummy bear nose. Medium bodied, cranberries, bing cherries, more tannins than you'd expect at this price, pepper, cocoa, and a medium length, somewhat sappy finish. Easily over-delivers.

Another year, another successful Wellington Duke

Added complexity of 23% Carignan and 10% Alicante Bouschet add interest over the Duke 10 of 2012/13. Evolved nicely over a period of a few days. Good dark fruit with enough acid and tannic structure to allow this to cellar for at least a few years. Great for < $10.

Dark berries, bright acidity, and medium to full body. For $10 this is excellent.
