Beautiful pepper, old socks and leather with some fruit notes-cant quite make out. Very refined and feels like it could cellar some time longer to round the notes out

Spicy black plum nose, similar palate. Drying tannins but not course. Just medium mouth weight. Carries its 14.5 abv well; it's not intrusive. Indeed, modern Durif moderation in fruit weight and other respects, including I suspect use of oak.

A terrific expression of modern Rutherglen Durif. Fragrant and spicy and delicious dark fruits. Alcohol whilst high very well integrated. Recommended.
