There is not an ounce of Italian character, this is very modern, with that said, it is a tasty wine for the price, a bit green on the nose and palate with simple, red fruit and vegetal nuances, nice table wine, just a bit uninspiring

A nicely-balanced Cab-Merlot blend, ruby medium (+) in color, with medium acidity and alcohol and medium (+) tannins. A good value at $16.00.

Nothing special. TV watching wine or when the relatives come to dinner.

Very well-made, chewy, with freshness and some tension at mid-palate, and great hints of old-school cab notes. Really solid wine.

The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Chateau Lay) : Notes of dried fruit, prunes and chocolate. Dark fruit tones on the palate, with a decent finish.

wow - wonderfully rich, fruit-forward, delightfully complimentary to our pasta

We bought a bottle of this off the list at Italian Village. Unimpressive. Seemed rough and untamed. Certainly drinkable but without any nuances to make it stand out. Notes of berry and currants. 83 points.

Very wonderful wine for the price point. Spicey. First sip attacks that back of the mouth followed by a medium full finish. The bottle started to turn after about 2 1/2 hours so drink quickly. I don't want to diminish the quality of this bottle. Very good!!
