Light in colour and in taste, I would even say thin. Discrete jamminess, hints of leather and funghi.

Last time we underestimated the pleasures that may be had from this light red. Very refreshing thanks to its core of limestone acidity and chalky minerality, but also very interesting with a defined personality. A mix of gamay and pinot noir. We'll buy more.

Vinik "outlet" tasting : Nice development towards mushrooms, minerals, herbs and spice with a hint of jamminess to the red berries. Quite an interesting personality with fresh acids, light body and a good limestone structure. Enjoyable to drink on its own, would also hold for a few years. Gamay (40-65%) and pinot noir, perhaps with a small dash of côt and/or cab franc (together allowed up to 15% by the appellation). Ecologically grown grapes.

Drank chilled, 10 degrees Fruity, fresh, well balanced, earthy

Good, lighter red wine. I like this. Terrific value. Would buy more.
