Really drinkable Sauvignon with a bouquet of stone fruit and some lemon The palate has a creamy mouthfeel and good freshness. Nicely oaked Sauvignon Blanc.

Burlottothon (Terra Rossa, N1) : Look, it's ripe Savvy B. It's not OTT on the cat piss-ometer but as a general rule I prefer to drink things that don't remind me of animal urine. It's got a warming, toasty tone and a satisfying fresh greenness along with passion fruit and vanilla. I do like the palate despite myself. Direct, concentrated and refreshing: pure yellow and orange fruit, integrated acidity and finishes with a bitter twist.

This is oaked and has a spicy nose with a grassy backdrop and a touch of peach. Unfurls a bit with time in the glass. More fruit forward with high acidity peach and a touch of sweet lemon. Crisp with a little weight and perhaps a little more complexity than a normal SB

2016 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly, Alan and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/3/2016-11/12/2016 (Villa D’este, Lake Como, Piedmont, Milan and Frankfurt) : Rich yet refreshing SB nose, kiwi and grapefruit dominates, honey and a hint of steely mineral. There is no green notes/cat pee. Good concentration, rich oily palate, good acidity, a hint of sweetness and a medium to long clean cool finish. Really refreshing and clean wine. This is closer to a good pouilly fume than a NZ SB.
