This had a dark color with a subtle nose. The taste, however was rich, very full of dark fruit and covered the palate the palate completely. Very lush and drinkable, with a long finish. The fruit bimb was structured by sweet tannins that keep the structure of the wine complete. I think this wine will last another 10+ years in a good cellar. There were no signs of aging at all. This is still a big boy with soft edges!!

This was dark, inky purple, full bodied, rich concentrated but elegant and polished with lush black berry and black raspberry fruits with layers of cassis, clove spice, sweet oak, black tea, mocha and vanilla bean, with smooth silky soft tannins and nicely balanced acidity on the finish. https://unwindwine.blogspot.com/2020/12/close-out-2020-with-diamond-mtn.html

Dark color. Very rich, full bodied with ripe plum and dry tannins. Not as good as I had hoped for, but a pretty solid napa cab overall. Need food to enjoy this.

Deep indigo in color. Plum, blackberry, maybe some vanilla on the palate. A nice touch of sweetness. Nicely full bodied and in a good drinking window. The only surprise was the approachability at this age. Sure it will last but with 2011 and 2012 available, why wait?

Very curious about this one since I'm seeing the 2011 CT rated as 96.6! Say what??? (I think there are some shillls posting scores!) Anyway this is rated as a 91.5 and I thinks that's right in the range. In the decanter, it took about an hour to 1.5 hours to hit its stride. Since it's been a few days since I drank it I can't recall exactly my impressions, but I remember that it was excellent, medium strength aromas, …

Red fruit and cedar on the nose, with tart cherry and sage on the palate. Soft, dry finish.

Cliff lede - cedar oak not much fruit on nose. Delicious bodied fruit on mouth. Great with food. As it opened became dryer... Interesting- pencil lead , blackened black cherries, life saver cherry, wet rock, ucalyptus, Long, long finish. Dark berry in color. Very chewy. Morning fog in the air. Great viscosity.
