Tall Horse Merlot

This is probably the most disappointing wine I have drunk in the last year. Purchased at The Old Mill in Pitlochry which had no wines listed that I'd heard of previously. So it was a gamble and it didn't pay off. Some fruit on the none, but all I could get on the palate was acidity and it was almost painful on the throat to swallow. Cheap and harsh. Very young.
