This is a very enjoyable bottle. The nose is a blend of tropical fruit and green apple. In the mouth, there is a definite green apple note with tropical fruit and a buttery undercurrent. The acidity is high with a deep mid-palate and good length.

Medium-bodied, sweetish Chardonnay. Just the right amount of oak to add some complexity. This is a pretty good drink right now and I don't really see much potential for aging. Very good.

Dinner with the Julius. This was part of his Vinexpo schwag. Sweet, smoky, but with a firm acid backbone. Oaky but no cloying caramel. American meursault. Good to very good.
