Limited notes. Good but maybe a touch oxidized.

Terrific wine. Weight and fruit of a Grand Cru, with the length to match. Stone, orchard fruit, lime, tropical fruit notes (lychee?) with Chablis chalk and finishing zest. Very Grand Cru. But still young and developing. 93-94+

Golden yellow with clear rim. Nose of dried fruit and lilies. Medium plus body with good acidity. Palate of apricots and stewed apples. There was some minerality but it seemed to melt in with the fruit. Definitely an older Chablis.

Drinking well but give it plenty of air. Typical chablis nose with oyster shells and salt. Soft fruit with nice ring at finish.

Gold. Smooth perfumed nose with oxidative notes, apples, lemon, limestone; white flowers and pineapple as it warmed. On the palate honey textured, chalky with the balance and substance of a grand cru: crisp and long on the mineral infused finish. Reminded me of a very old shramsberg blanc de blancs. Pure class.

Straw yellow. Floral and fruity nose of lillies, stone fruit and wet rocks. Slight hint of butter. High acidity medium body. Palate of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple and some peach. Great minerality with crushed stone and salinity. Hint of creaminess comes in underneath the fruit. Long finish.

Single Blind Chablis Grand Cru Le Clos (Octo Fish Bar, St. Paul, MN) : Light gold color. Drank 1 glass blind over 2 hours. This was really minerally and quite full of brine, very tart, feels young, lighter body with lot of lemon and Meyer lemon, spirited energy. I thought this very good, rather young and tart so the it made me think of the '14 vintage and this was our only '14. 91+pts.

Restrained fruit. Aromas of stinky cheese, citrus, wet stone. Bright mouthfeel, salty and mineral. Medium weight and grapefruit flavored finish and lasting tannin/acid balance.

Tasted at domaine. Powerful and big, with great acidity and structure. A pleasure to drink. A different animal from the 1er crus. The finish is a bit short, perhaps because it's way too young, as it needs time.

I served this in my wine course. Faint sea shell nose, with slight pear and lemon. Rich mouth with some quince, and strong mineral finish. Seems tight right now. Needs time.

Surprisingly full and rich. Drank really well for being so young. Glad I have more. Peaches and butter. Some good funk that will develop well.

Medium straw color. Forward nose of flint, flowers and salt. The palate starts broad, with butter and citrus fruit notes, transitioning to mint at the mid palate, and finishing with the persistent flavor of limestone. Acidity on this is limited, and the wine would taste slightly flabby but for the signature Les Clos minerality. Good drinking right now, and certainly scratches the Kimmeridgian terroir itch, but I think the weakness of this vintage shows through.

Picnic at Chevaliers-Montrachet vineyard, Burgundy : It was interesting to compare this with the 2009 Servin we had earlier in the day. That was good, but this was clearly better. Light lemon colour. A characteristic Chablis bouquet of sea breeze, oyster shell, chalk and some white flowers, very fresh and bright. On palate, also classical Grand Cru level Chablis. Quite racy acidity across the palate, providing a strong backbone of acid for the wine. However, quite ripe, with a lot …
