Domaine de la Créa Chorey-les-Beaune Les Beaumonts

Medium bright cherry colour, high perfumed notes on the nose. Lots of cherry and other red fruit, with some flowers. Nice enough on the palate, but disappointing intensity - loses something across the mid-palate before an obscured, slightly metallic finish. It's really only the initial attack that says it's a burgundy pinot. Very pretty in the glass, not entirely disappointing, but lacks finish.
