This wine is now at its apogee, so as it goes, it is my last bottle out of a case! It has a nice round mouthfeel and texture to it. It has nice lemon citrus fruit, plus apple and pear. It is a nice village level Chablis for current consumption. It has crisp citrus fruit, good acidity and minerality, and a medium finish.

This wine has gained complexity since my last bottle. It has a much more round mouthfeel and texture to it. It has a creamy citrus finish to it. It is a nice village level Chablis for current consumption. It has crisp citrus fruit, good acidity and minerality, and a medium finish.

Well, it takes this wine a while to open up. While it is good, I don't find it to be a good value. I have several other bottlings from this producer that I really like, but the village level Chablis, at least from this vintage, is average, in my opinion. Nevertheless, it has a creamy, but crisp texture to it. Plus good citrus fruit, tangy acidity, good minerality and a medium finish.

Very similar to my last bottle. It is a nice entry level Chablis.

I think this wine has gained some complexity. It has a creamy, but crisp texture to it. Plus it has a lot of citrus fruit, tangy acidity, good minerality and a medium finish. It is very likable.

(Half) Mid lemon, aromas of lemon, lime wet stones, apple & pear. Touch muted initially. Medium body with strong acidity. To taste more lemon, lime, zest, apple, pear & slate. Long finish. Very good. Intense flavours and well balanced. Super fresh. Plenty of time in hand.

This bottle has been open for about 1/2 hour. It is very similar to my last one. It is crisp but with a creamy texture to it, plus lots of citrus fruit, acidity and good minerality. I do agree that it has some salinity, plus some pear and apple fruit.

Green apple, lemon, wet rocks, lemon rind. Very precise. If I knew more fruits I would probably find them. Very happy.

A few more months in the cellar has improved this wine some more. Like my previous bottle, it has a creamy texture, plus lots of citrus fruit, acidity and good minerality. I do agree that it has some salinity to it, in a good way, plus some pear and apple fruit.

Lovely pale colour; ripe white fruits, pith; quite rich & rounded, there is a salinity on mid palate; easy going but tangy finish. Vauprin offers far more. Drink up.

Consistent with previous bottle. Crisp acidity but a bit rounded on the mouthfeel so it balances out very well. Very good QPR.

By the glass from an already opened and refrigerated bottle from a Michelin star restaurant, and excellent value for such food friendly wine. First time ever trying a baseline Roland Lavantureux offering and it did not disappoint. Aromatic medley of green apple, lemon, a bit floral, along with elegant combination of acidity, minerality, salinity that flowed very beautifully in good balance. Quite surprised by the wax capsule on there even for a village (commendable). I need to seek out this …

After sitting in my cellar for a couple of months, I think this wine has improved. It has a creamy texture or mouthfeel to it, plus lots of citrus fruit, acidity and good minerality. I do agree that it has some salinity to it, in a good way, plus some pear and apple fruit.

Some apple, pear, good minerality and a little marzipan which I find unusual. To be honest, so far I am a little disappointed with this wine. It finishes like a Viré Clesse, a dry one at that. I have enjoyed other wines from this producer and perhaps this one will improve with some more cellar time.

Salty, lemony with some chalky minerality. A bit of golden apple and pear as well. Medium+ acidity. Paired great with some broiled oysters.

Nice tidepool crushed shell mineral nose directly on pop and pour. Some regal granny smith apple as well. Rich but lean; quite nice. Lovely entry level Chablis at an easy price—over delivers vs price.

Golden in colour with faintest green tint. Sea shells and hint of seaweed on the nose. Quite round with a slightly viscous mouthfeel with some minerally mid-palate complexity, yet there's no getting away from the prominent acidity which keeps the wine very savoury and really demands food. May benefit from ageing in bottle a year or so. Best served cool as performs noticeably below this level when closer to room temperature. From Conterno Sensory.
