Groundwork Grenache

Meaty peppery notes underneath cherry and red berry fruit. There's almost a zin-like briary quality to it. Medium-bodied with spicy red fruit with a peppery soice finish. Very nice.

Cherry, raspberry, clove, lavender and warm spice notes. Raspberry, pepper and spice flavors- a touch hot on the palate.

Not a real big fan of this wine. Had friends over who love this wine and they said it did not taste right. Was not vinegar-ed, but it was off.

18 months in oak.. I like the weight, smells like pine sap, a pure sweet red fruit note, red flowers,and a stemmy note, day 2 now, subtle supple grenache , I do enjoy this style,translucent color , will taste the 2014 very soon

petit fruits rouges et noirs bien murs, un peu confituré , au nez on sent presque la cassonade , bois , notes d'épices , roche mouillée , petit coté baking soda , on ressent encore un peu l'alcool et on sent que le vin viens d'un climat chaud , meilleur après 2-3 heures de carafe 88-89

Cherry raspberry, heat on back end

Loads of raspberry and red berry fruit- juciy and bright, with white pepper and spice qualities too. Good acidity, finishing with nice length. Excellent.

Raspberry and red cherries with some cinnamon spice and a touch of anise. Juicy without being sweet. Smooth and tasty. Definitely will pick up more.

Second Sunday Group: Domestic Grenache (Frank's) : Ruby color. Aromas of cherry, mineral, spice- nutmeg perhaps. Cherry, cinnamon-like spices, red fruit and white currant flavors. It wasn't until this had twenty minutes in the glass that it began to show some peppery herbal qualities. Rather light and elegant though, and as such I really enjoy it, more so than the others in this lineup. My #1, Domino's #1 Group #2, 42 pts
