Stood this bottle up a day before, opened and poured the first glass, decanted the remainder for sediment. This wine had a great nose of mint, black fruits and forest. The flavors were of dark fruits but there was a greenness to the wine. It went well with dinner, steak and the second glass either the green flavors faded or I got used to them. The nose was the most intriguing part of this bottle.

Austere. Hint of redcurrants in nose, later some cigar-box. Peppery taste, noticeable tannin. Finished bottle several days later when it was softer and more attractive. I would give it several more years.
