Really outstanding wine-nice structure and integration of tannins, but lots of savory earth, spice, coffee. This was a wow wine from the moment we tasted it, would definitely acquire if given the chance

Consumed over 2 days. This struck us as a special/serious wine, and the sort of thing mind-dilating tasting menus' wine pairings are made of. On Day 1 we all kinda thought we might blind it (that is, in the absence of its gorgeous, incredibly deep, almost black, color in the glass) for Saumur-Champigny.
