Garnet red in the glass, already showing good age. The first sniff blasts you off to Right Bank Bordeaux with typical aromas of plum and blackberry, but under the surface (and with at least an hour of aeration) lie dominant tertiary notes of wet leaves, cocoa puffs soaked in milk for too long, dried plum, eucalyptus and a unpleasant barnyard stench.
