Golden color. Aromas of tropical fruits like pineapple and papaya, along with vanilla, mineral, and a bit of oak. Medium to full body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of lemon, nutty, oaky notes, and mineral. Pretty solid, but caution to the oak-averse.

Was first introduced to Schweiger at the Detroit Athletic Club by a partner in my firm. One of the (very) few California Chardonnays I enjoy and drink on a regular basis. Oak on the nose (but not too much) with a hint of honeydew. Slight mineral feel on the palette. Very good food wine - complimentary without overpowering.

Well made Chardonnay in a balanced, fruit driven style. Pear, pineapple and a hint a caramel in the background. On the palate, lemon curd, red apple and slate. Finishes clean with just the right amount of acidity. I like the mouth feel and body of this chard.- nice weight. Worth seeking out.
