Ratzenberger Bacharacher Riesling Kabinett trocken

Very dry, crisp, complex. Served over an evening with cheese, olives & smoked meats, and then with an Amish chicken (cooked in milk) and potatoes & broccoli. Stood beautifully on its own as well as a perfect accompaniment to all.

Alcohol: 12% Qualitaswein mit Pradikat Gutsabfuhlung Color: Light yellow Nice acidity and fruit. A wine that works very well with food, especially fish. Buy again. I like the second bottle even more than the first. The color is more a lemon yellow. Very nice acidity with an undertone of honey and light citrus. The flavors are definatly more toward the subtle than the huge. The texture on the tongue is light, but not too light.

Light yellow/gold color. Nose is light with floral scents, honey suckle. Floral and honey suckle scents come through to palate. Some mineral notes come into play when open for a while. Nice wine, but not wowing me enough to buy more.

Delicious wine with Salmon and Lentils -- dry with some nice citrus with a mineral finish.
