Muted nose; beautifully smooth tannins, mild acidity, excellent earthiness, dark fruits. Enjoyable. Demanded 30 minutes in carafe to open. That said I wonder if this wine is int he process of falling off the cliff. The muted nose, along with what appears to be some oxidation (pleasant, but wrong) suggest that it its beginning its downward journey. I wonder what it was like 2 years back? my advice: if you still have any, drink up!

Opened at 7, decanted to a small decanter and drank over a few hours. Smooth tannin, medium bodied, some barnyard and cherry aroma, overall a nice bottle

100% Sangiovese, produced in a simple style. Average typicity of grape and place, easily approachable. Just ok. https://www.ItalianWine.blog

Continues to impress as a solid chianti classico; pairs well with food. Medium to full bodied, esp. for a CC.

Continues to impress though this bottle seemed a touch flat. Still a very nice, medium to full-bodied CC.

Continues to impress. Big nose (for a chianti) with typical earthy notes and hints of red fruit. Full bodied on the palate (again for a CC) with good complexity: hints of plum and raspberry, leather, and forest. Pairs very well with food.

Very nice tame Chianti with notes of cherry and thyme. There were rustic characteristics to this wine which I found very pleasing.

Continues to impress. Classic Chianti nose with a sophisticated palate. Very full bodied for sangiovese with good balance of red fruit, acid and background of mushroom and forest

On the mark for a Chianti. Balanced and easy to drink. Paired it with aged Spanish cheese. I would definitely buy more of this wine.

Enjoyable, probably a little too closed and young at the moment. it opened a bit through the night, but this need a few more years. Not a 97 point wine

Medium intensity nose of red cherry, clove, earth, and forest floor aromas. It is medium-bodied with nice aroma replays joined by strawberry notes. It has chalky tannins that need some time and very good length on the juicy finish. 100% Sangiovese.
