Deep purple violet color Wonderful bouquet. Full of juniper and dark wild berry. Good structure. Moderate tanins. Dark fruit with hints of black licorice. Strong finish that didn’t linger too long. Enjoyed with fig crustini with prosciutto and 25 year balsamic appetizer. Opened up even better with bronzino livergnese.

Darker style than the rosso, some mushroom, cherry cordial, anise, aged in old french barrique. Excellent weight, soft mouthfeel, edged with dusty tannin. Well priced for "almost" brunello
