Made out of Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez (Tempranillo), Trincadeira, Touriga Franca and Petit Verdot, this wine is a very balanced one produced up on the most traditional way of portuguese wine prodution that is the blend of several grapes to acomplish a complex and very balanced wine. This wine represents a great value. Dark ruby, displaying an expressive nose of dark cherry, fruit cake, animal scents and signs of carbonic maceration. Medium-bodied, fruit-driven and creamy-textured with luscious fruit, very soft tannins and balancing acidity. Medium aftertaste.

Deep ruby with a forward and aromatic nose suggesting CarbMac. Violets, black cherries, cinnamon and noble meat. No evident oak although 40% aged for 6 months in French oak. Juicy and fresh on palate lacking a bit in acidity and concentration. A good wine for every-day drinking with a very appealing and tempting price.
