For a cheap, young, Chilean Merlot (a phrase I often use to disparage supermarket wines), this is actually drinkable (but just drinkable - not remotely interesting). Some liquorice and a touch of green leaf. I still picture a carton of Ribena as I drink it but it's a more drinkable alcoholic blackcurrant juice than most. ... Actually I've totally oversold this.
