Leather, smoke, wet earth on the nose. A hint of cherry followed by campfire smoke and wet dirt on the palate. Finishes dry with a slight smokey aftertaste that lingers. Fun and interesting!

Light purple-ish red. Kind of muted on the nose, some dark cherries, dried mushrooms and leather notes. On the palate it's very similar to the nose with some acidity, and it has this leathery texture with bitter tannic finish. Didn't like it initially, put the cork back in and waited for 2 days. Served a bit chiller than room temperature and it was quite nice, the tannins were softened (could also be the sediment issue initially). I with there's more …

- Purple color and has flavours of dusty and cedar with a light body. Leathery texture with a medium finish - Spennende, lukt av dempet anis, kanskje litt mentol. Rustik stil, med ville bjrnebr pa tunga. Vskende, lukter litt vulkansk. Spennende vin til mrkt kjtt, men kolliderer lit med pepper. Taler godt a ligge et par ar til.

Light red out of the bottle with a thin looking pour. Quiet nose, dark cherry and black earth, followed by unwelcome alcoholic heat. Medium acidity and surprisingly chewy tannins. One dimensional dark fruited palate, saved only by interest from a rustic texture. I think this is my first Pais and it's not bad, but it's also not particularly good.
