Tulocay Carignane

Tasted again with consistent notes. Even one of my friends, who's very fussy about red wines, declared this one great. (5/16/2023) Not sure that Carignane can get much better than this. Deep purplish color. Great hedonistic nose with tons of blueberry in the flavors. Made in the Dolcetto style for early consumption. About as perfect a summer red as you're going to find. From century-old, dry-farmed vines in the Little Big Block Vineyard in Contra Costa County.
