I wasn't very impressed. Seemed a little bit disjointed. Still a good wine.

89-90. Very good. Has seen a hefty dose of oak, but it is also dry and somewhat classic with solid acidity, nice tannic structure. Lots of dark fruit, cedar, tobacco, and some vanilla.

Still a very good wine. Lots of cedar, big acidity, moderate tannin. Structure with an earthy dark fruit character and a good amount of wood. Still, dry and well balanced and more like Sonoma or S. Africa than Aussie. Nothing memorable and a bit too much oak, but still a strong effort.

Wow, good stuff. No way you'd pick this as Aussie blind. Much more likely to say hillside Sonoma cab in an old school style or high end South African cab, maybe even bordeaux. Big acidity, lots of earthy tobacco, licorice, and herbs balanced by some nice dark fruit. If Greg Norman puts his name on this style wines, he should feel proud. Totally dry, and balanced. No overextraction. Unbelievable QPR at closeout. Day 2: Still very good. Like a leaner …
