Great, mature wine with no signs of decline. Mushroom and barnyard on the nose. Nice mouthfeel a bit weighty, but not too much. Black and blueberry on the palate. This wine out shined an 88 Ornellaia and a 95 Sassacaia which was served immediately following this wine Bruno should be proud. This is good sh*t. A bargain actually.

Very nice. Clear brick color. Smell of dry earth, kind of warm smell, herby. On the palate: Starts with clear dried fruit, kind of smooth tannins in the middle, long aftertaste. An excellent Sangiovese. On top now, but can be stored for a couple of more years without any steep decline.

Drank this with Serge, Else, Mark , Anna and Gabi at my dinner party. This was before 97 Sassacaia. I have to admit it held up pretty well and was enjoyed by all.
