Wonderful showing with a little funk and spice, floral, apple, pear and minerals. Medium plus finish and nice acidity.

Trade Tasting 03.19.25, Distributor V (222) : Trade Tasting at work. Swished & spat. Apricot, lime, enveloping.

Austrian Tasting (Abercrombie Hotel) : Medium minus intensity aromas of green noes, very slight grapefruit. Juicy, fleshy, tangy, citrus driven but quite non delineated, mid palate breadth, mouth coating, touch of bitterness. Medium plus length. Hmm.

Wines of Germany and Austria - walkaround tasting (Flatiron - San Francisco) : subtle floral and herbal notes mingle with green apple and stonefruit. soft mouthfeel with reticent fruit notes buoyed by bright acidity and anchored by a pithy bitterness. medium length. seemingly simple and suffering by comparison to its company this evening, this bottle was not showing particularly well. 11.5% AbV; from various vineyards in the Kamptal; whole bunch pressing and vinification in stainless.

Pale yellow. Light-medium body. Lovely acidity. White flowers. Orchard fruit. Green apple. Apricots and a touch of under ripe white peach. Honey dew melon. Really good length.

Pale lemon in colour with somewhat restrained aromas of blossoms & citrus. On the palate, light to medium bodied citrus, citrus oil, lemon, green herbs, floral, high acidity with a long finish to slightly spicy, saline minerality. This is lively, fresh, crisp, bright wine, definitely in the Riesling area code. Very nicely done!
