Radical label chanage. That's got some rich fruit to it. And also tension across the palate. With a touch of a savory edge through it.

I am neutral on this wine even though I am a fan of stinky, earthy wines. This one just may need some more time to allow the red fruit to come out with authority.

Dark purple color. Medium body. Very fragrant; lots going on for the tongue: roses, pepper, and blueberries against a background of soft tannins and decent acidity. Nice long finish. Lovely, pretty wine; good value.

Spicy, dark fruit, good tannins (but not so strong), a little nicely integrated wood in the end. Delicious quite typical southern france wine, with a pleasing texture. QPR ok.

Delicate earth and dusty strawberries atop a slab of slate. Astringent palate with a nice acidic balance, ripe raspeberries, and dry soil. Slight chemical bitterness on the finish. Give it some time.

Drank over two days. First day was a little closed in the nose but had nice cherry and smokey flavors as it opened. On the second day it was more balanced with a bit of nuttiness in the back but wasn't as interesting. A good quaffed for the price.

Robust, fruity, complex, rather delcious.

Spice box, a little funk and blueberry on the nose. More blueberry, spice, and some crushed rocks on the palate with a nice grippy acidity. Great stuff for the price.

Great for $9, nice dark berry and minerality

Always like this wine, but this might not be my favorite vintage ever. This bottle, at least, was a little too bretty. On the other hand, it is nicely minerally with refreshing dark fruit and a moderate, and interesting texture. Will probably try another bottle or two but not so tempted to to stock up as I have in past years.

Blackberry, violet, graphite on nose and palate. Hot and a little rough. Fine with richer food.

Opened 1 hour ahead of time. Faint aromas of cassis and spice. A little horsey. Flavors of blackberry and citron on the palate, some vanilla appears in the lingering finish. More restrained than previous years, but it's early. As ever, a great bargain
