Deep fruit and pain grille nose. Lot’s of extracted blueberry fruit and milk chocolate on the palate. High octane and a bit simple. I scored this the highest of the PerUs wines tasted that evening but that’s not saying much as this was also the oldest. Generic Cali cab blend 91-92.

Yum. If you like big rich, concentrated California reds this wine nails it. Delicious now and seems like it will get even better over the next few years.

Deep and dark purplish ruby red. Rich and dark nose coated in blackberries, raspberries, cinnamon, dark chocolate and dark flowers. Medium plus (6.5/10) and full bodied. Lush and rich with a touch of minerality followed up by blue, black fruits, baking spices

Gorgeous. Revel at the end of the world in total hedonism. Peach sugar delight. Wow. Total anhilation of inhibition.

Dark red color. This wine is liquid velvet! Super smooth with medium/dark red fruit. Medium finish. A real treat!

Bevan, SQN, and others - SF (Sean Rowe live solo house performance) (San Francisco) : A striking bottle of wine, this blend was less brooding and deeply pitched than the 2015 PerUs Cabernet Sauvignon. Of course, that's not to say this wine wasn't a big, dark, modern expression of a BDX blend. This was packed full of back raspberry, blackberry, deep/ripe raspberry liqueur, mulch, cacao, and hints of red and black licorice. Less of the earth and forest floor notes …
