Jacuzzi Family Vineyards Nero d'Avola Tracy Hills

Earthy, yet lighter than Sicilian Nero d'Avolas that I have had. Works well with lamb shanks, but not the same pop as Sicilian Neros.

Very well balanced, but lighter than Sicilian Nero d'Avolas that I have had. It is fruitier and less tannic. I paired it with braised lamb shanks that went very well with it. The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant. It tastes like mushroom. The body is medium. The wine has linear texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.
