Really nice Bordeaux blend. Graphite, cigar box, and pencil shavings. Tannins are fully resolved. This thing is ready to drink now.

Matured nicely, settles down after an hour. Prominent but soft tannins. Sweet mellowed fruit with caramel overtones. Glad I kept it this long.

Thanksgiving 2015 : Dark in color. Nose of leather, dark fruit and black currant. Tannins are not yet fully integrated, starts to open up after 3 hours. Very long finish and quite classical in style. More to come in 5 years. Very nice inaugural vintage of Kapcsandy. Drink now - 2030+

dark red. Nose of herbs, plums, currant and tobacco. Very nice balance, elegant and long. Tannins and plenty of fruit still present. Very classical in style but still showing its Californian heritage. Great wine to drink now with another 10-15 years reserve. Great first vintage of this great winery...

Dinner with an out of town guest? (Pasha 1604) : Still fairly dark mulberry purple. Rich plummy flavors with a hint of cocoa, but to me much more old world styled. Lovely. Fine now, but no rush
