Light on the pallet. Good smell on the intake, hints of tanines, red fruit, smokey pepper finish.

Blackberry, plum, chocolate, cedar and pumpkin spice. Jammy, medium plus acid, rounded mouthfeel. Simple and enjoyable but none of the herbal or savory notes of the Loire's version of the varietal. This is much more fruit forward. Went well with BBQ pork loin. Will lay it down a year or two to gauge progress.
