Domaine de Fauterie Saint-Péray

Nice little quaffer. Some grassiness on the nose along with floral and citrus notes. On the palate, almond and honey dominate a medium framed, round palate, with quite a bit of oak kicking in on the shortish finish.

Not quite as opulent as the '00 but still a great everyday wine. With Mojarra Frita and Snapper Veracruzana it was quite good, much less fruity than the Bressades last night, but with plenty of spice and good length.

Not quite as evolved as the '00 but along the same lines. With Barfeoot's pizza party it was very good.Round and full with a little shortness on the finish it still was a better match than most chards in the closet.Watch out for the sardines in oil on the grill with the roasted garlic and capers- this was highlight of the night.
