Dark and dense with cassis, black cherry, earth, mint, and some barrel influences of dark chocolate, vanilla, cedar. Needs about 3 hours of decanting to open up.

Drinking incredibly well with a maturity, richness and complexity that was not apparent in prior years of tasting. Robust mouthfeel and earthy, dark fruit.

Hour decant. No nose othwr than brambly alcohol. Insanely pleasant tannins cut through a rather sharp dark fruit jam. Still really nice and should be fine for another year or so.

Amazingly fruit forward still. Quite bright and alive. 30 min decant with steak and potatoes. Quite complimentary. Limited tannins. Supple mouth feel. Very good.

Last of three bottles. Tasting notes consistent with others. Fruit forward, tannins are smooth and well integrated. Nice acid. Drink them if you got them.

Very good right from the PnP. Hints of smoke and tobacco on top of classic Cabernet flavors. Five years in my cellar really paid off with a delicious glass that carried over to Day 2.

have to say not loving this right now. felt a bit bitter and out of balance. as the fruit starts to recede with age, the other notes are more jagged than satisfyingly complex.

Enjoyed this today with friends. Dark purple-black in color. Dark fruit on nose and palate. Low acidity and tannins. Great drinking phase.

Very fruit toward. Loads of black currants, sage, leather. Really nice oak and acid. Should last another 10 years.

Ripe cherry pie but with some structure.

Decanted for an hour. Some brett on the nose which quickly blew off. This is a very fruit forward wine with not a lot of tannin on the backend. Smooth. This wine is drinkable now and should hold for another 3+ years or more. Doesn't appear to have the structure to be an ager. GOOD.

Lost my tasting notes but finished 3rd in a 9 person 4 bottle blind tasting. I remember it was very enjoyable and a solid effort. 1st 2010 Paraduxx Napa C Blend, 2nd 2012 Betz Cuvee Frangin, 4th 2010 Anderson's Conn Valley Est Reserve Cab.

Big fruit forward wine, a little over the top for me (wife liked it). High concentration of fruit indicates to me this will cellar for many more years. That all said, I've had better. GOOD.

The nose shows plums, leather and tobacco. The palate shows dark berries and plums with a hint of dustiness, well balanced and not too tannic.

Good cab for the price. Smooth with medium tannins. Could cellar for another 2-3 years, but overall was nice simple cab, nothing complex. GOOD.
