Excellent balance of red fruits on the nose and palate. Fresh and nimble in the mouth, poised to pair with a variety of medium bodied cheese and dishes. Nicely resolving tannins and well balanced acidity. This is a fine example of an easy drinking red and a solid value. Quite nice!

Really good, what NICEFISH said, and would add the acid/fine tannin balance perfectly complemented and enhanced the flavor profile of dried/black cherry, tar, tobacco, earth--just a terrific wine and so NOT mass market. Served with sauteed fresh trumpet mushrooms/light herb/lemon cream sauce over pasta. Wine went yin/yang to the rich creamy sauce and just right with trumpet micro flavor bombs.

Lovely garnet color. Dried cherries, old leather and tar on the nose. Nice finish, fine tannins swirling.

Tart it is, this is no Barolo! Really refined and evocative berry and autumnal scents on the nose, very subtle, understated. Very fine, traditional wine with sneaky length and perfect tannins. Great job.
