A ridiculously overpriced wine, but it is still a very good wine. Blueberry compote on the nose with Oak. On the palate much the same with some hints of blackberries. Smooth but the dominance of the Oak was too much and took the score down a point. The wine did not change much over the course of a couple hours and I see no room for improvement.

color: not purple, but the name is Japanese for purple nose: floral taste: strong and structured, chameleon other: could use 10-15 years aging, 54% cabernet sauvignon, 11% petit verdot, 7% cab franc
