Aromas of toasted hazelnut, bread crust and white stone fruit form the nose. The round palate shows finesse and class, offering creamy yellow apple, brioche and white almond alongside fresh acidity. Winemag.com.

It’s been coravin’d for over a month. Holding great. Honestly, I wasn’t too jamming on this the first go around of this bottle. But tonight at room temp. Soft suave texture, stoney mineral and fine-ass potpourri-laced palate. I mean really nice, like grandmas-perfume nice. ‘-‘

7 Days in Italy II; 2/17/2019-2/23/2019 : Not all Haberlehof (any longer). Just 15% Haberlehof (not certified Bio-D, as the farmer is stubborn.) The other 85% of this cuvee is Certified Bio-D. The Bio-D portion is then fermented and raised in large cask. The Haberlehof goes into Stainless, so as to not ‘contaminate’ a Bio-D barrel. Some honied notes to the nose. That follows to the palate. Mineral underlay and has that salon-ishness about itself.
