Jérôme Quiot Gigondas Alwenn

Alwenn……a special cuvee with a special name; named after the two Quiot daughters Nolwenn and Alexandra. (And the C9duP as well, but the other way round: Nolandra ;-)) Nice story, but how about the wine? The Gigondas is a concentrated and tasteful wine with a lot of sweetness, herbs, spiciness, blood. A great wine with also good tannin and acidity, but still in its youthful stage where it lacks some refinement. Probably wise not to drink this before 2015 and …
