Meyer-Fonne, Riesling Wineck Grand Cru, Schlossberg

Broad fruit with a nice acidic bite at the finish. Quite dry. Hard to pin down as Riesling on the somewhat shy nose. Very good length on the finish. Excellent food wine; cut through a fatty salmon dish as well as salad/tabouli accompaniments.

Yum. Bruised apple. Paired with an Art of the Table chicken pot pie!

Tropical fruit with apricots and lime/kiwi. Nice mix of acidity, minerals, and light herbal notes. Kabinett-level RS in the flavor profile. Delicious with halibut in Thai curry sauce.

Purchased from Benchmark Wine Group (BWG https://www.benchmarkwine.com/ ) in February 2015, delivered last day of Feb.15. On opening- notable mold on top of the cork, not something that seems to have developed over short period. Slight holes in cork. On taste- Dead vinegar. Very very bitter. Further inspection suggests that the bottle may have gone through improper storage before purchasing. (arrived directly to my storage temp/humidity control location from BWG).
