Light ruby in the glass. Peppery notes in the nose with some oaky flair. Nice acidity, round and fresh, with cherries and blackberries on the palate, pepper, coffee beans, medium+ tannins. Quite straightforward with a pleasantly oaky ending. Went great with Pizza al prosciutto e rucola. Unpretentious but good.
