Sherwood Estate Riesling

This is a dry riesling and lived up to that billing. It was slightly acidic and I got some citrus fruit similar to a sauv blanc. There was an unknown taste and smell factor that I couldn't place, which was interesting. Overall, I enjoyed this wine a lot.

Lots of petrol on the nose, with some hints of fruit underneath. Apple and tangerines are the dominant fruits on the palate. A hint of sweetness, or maybe just bright fruit. Good acidity. A solid effort, if maybe not as nice as it might have been a year ago. 85-86
