This bottle had a pronounced pruney note that blew off after a couple hours. Overall not as good and balanced as previous bottles.

Nothing terribly remarkable here. Medium body, cherry, meaty notes. Some metallic minerality. But I'm not excited as it lacks that X factor. Not bad just not exceptional.

Nice wine; this bottle had a more complex meaty note on the nose.

Dark ruby color with substantial legs. Dark fruits, tobacco and spice box on the nose. Medium body, deep fruit, agressive but pleasant tannins, medium, simple finish. Very nice entry level CdP, great QPR at $26 on sale.

Very dark magenta. Raspberry, blackberry, forest floor, and vanilla on the nose. Medium bodied, good red fruit up front, baking spice, sweet cherries floating over the top, substantial but smooth tannins, and a medium to long finish. A good Turkey Day selection.

NIce, but definitely decant 2-3 hours. Heavy fruit up front. But not a great finish. But we had with a strong meal so might have been overpowered. Again, nice but not blown away by any means

Beautiful nose on opening, but very tight. Very strong tannins. needed at least 3 hours of decanting to soften up. Best to leave for a while to develop.

Very tasty. Powerful spice on the palate with dark red fruits that also showed on the nose. This is one of the better CndPs I've had. Beyond my budget right now but this is well done.
