Floral orange blossom, melon, apple, pear, minerality, smoke. Nice and creamy with a good finish.

Chenvieres may not be a cult name or a widely-vaunted producer in the wine geek world, but I've found their wines consistently over-deliver for the price point. This bottle was no exception, starting off as all wet rocks, straw, and honey and opening up to display beautiful lychee notes offset by crisp, refreshing acidity. No rush.

Elements of Wine 2020 - My Class at GnG; 8/30/2020-12/27/2020 (Grapes & Grains, Temecula, CA) : Crisp, unoaked notes of pear, nectarine, wet stones, citrus blossoms, coriander, and hazelnut. Very enjoyable. Would be something to revisit in 5 years when it has developed additional palate richness.

Remarkable for around $35. Nose of pear, white orchard fruit, white flowers. Palate is moderately long and well balanced. Improved as time went on, and held up very well on day 2 in Savino. Recommended and I’d get more if I could.

Last tasted approximately nine months ago, this Chardonnay has gotten even better. Medium golden in color, it flaunts intense aromas of pit fruits, Mandarin oranges, wet stones, coriander and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, fresh, unoaked and without alcoholic heat (13%), it has picked up weight on the mid-palate and continues to finish very long. This is developing beautifully and will last longer than previously predicted. Drink now-2026.

I used this to make osso buco for my Christmas dinner and it worked perfectly. I really enjoyed this wine. My first 1er cru from Chablis and it did not disappoint.

I would concur with Cave D'argent on the description. Very enjoyable. Light gold. Floral on the nose, citrus and crisp on the palate, light.

This light yellow Chardonnay offers aromas and flavors of white peaches, Mandarin oranges, wet stones and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, crisply acidic and seamlessly alcoholic (13%), it stays very fresh on the mid-palate by virtue of its lack of oak during vinification. Finishing long, this is one that should age very gracefully. Although it will likely improve, it is hard to resist at this point. Drink now-2024.
