Durch Zufall im Keller gefunden. Hat sich toll entwickelt. Richtig tolle Frucht und körperreich. Für mich besser als die anderen, jüngeren Jahrgänge. Top!

Muted blackberry nose. Low acidity, some oakiness in the mouth. Bland on the pallette, shortish finish. Overall nothing special about this wine, low flavor and low acidity. Not bad but not a good QPR wine.

Average Toro at best. Harsh tannins but the fruit was subdued. Bit of Leather and minerals on the nose, but that was subdued too. Finished a couple glasses over a 3 hour period and there was no improvement. Disappointed. Hunting for backup Tempranillo to keep from breaking into the good stuff. Volver is better and it's available at a better price point too. Disappointed, but not surprised.

tasted at Total Wines' Portugal and Spain wine class in Palm Beach Gardens, FL; nose intensity was moderate but fruit intensity was much better with notes of red fruit like cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and currant; the balance was fair to good and the finish medium at best

A really interesting and chunky Rioja with a fatal flaw. The over-powering sulfur aroma was difficult to get past. About halfway through the bottle I thought my nose would have been past it, but it wasn't. No amount of swirly or decanting could get past it. There were some moments late in the evening when the true beauty of the wine showed through. It was smoky with cherries and an herbaceous mint. This wine had a long finish with lingering …

100 percent Tempranillo - It's deep ruby red with black plum and/or black cherry aromas. The finish contains a gripping trannins. The bouquet remindes me of minerals and rose floral note.

Solid wine. Dark garnet-purple color. Quite rustic, with leather, earth, and gaminess. Juicy plum and dark fruit up front, but then is a little thin, falling away on 3/4 palate, but fine at the price point. Good acidity. A value wine, I wouldn't mind having a case at $13/bottle.

to celebrate spain's football quarter final win had this unremarkable wine that was as memorable as the Italian team's world cup performance; was not anticipating a lot but not expecting to be really let down either. tight, even after decanting for several hours, some spice and cedar notes but really lacking an "star" qualitities - found myself on the defensive for pulling this one out of the cellar.
