Domaine Giraud Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée les Grenaches de Pierre

No formal note but a serious CDP with touch sweet fruit and deep big bold flavors

This was incredible but was shocked to see 16 alc, the wine is so poised and elegant , nose is intoxicating bouquet of wild summer flowers, clay, dark red summer berries, silky texture with medium acidity generous fruit and a really really long finish

As always one of the top wines of the vintage; concentrated, sweet, dense Grenache here, carrying its wiight with grace, soft and creamy - and quite approachable ... loving it

Incredibly silky, elegant, and fresh, the wine exudes its floral character with ease. The soft, pure red fruits on the palate and in the refined finish seal the deal. This beauty was produced from 100% old vine Grenache.
