Chateau Oumsiyat Rouge Désir

Cab/ syrah/ cinsault/ carignan blanc. 12.5% Pale red colour with some fading at the rim. Sweet spicy nose, red cherries, cinnamon, touch candied. LIght ish body but lots of sweet fruit, some quite firm tannin - almost a little like a xynomavro. Touch of orange peel. Refreshing edge to it. Very nice. Tastes very eastern med. Tasting it again now and there’s something chianti like in those tannins.
