Tenuta Villa Rosa Gavi di Gavi

From half bottle. Oops, left this too long. Nose: muscat gummy. Palate: some muscat, green grapes, but relatively watery. Minor acid remaining, grape skin, probably past prime. As it warms to room temp: better, more acidity, green grape, but kind of disjointed.

Clitrusy with bright if simplistic acidity.

obvious alcohol that was clean and refreshing - like nice vodka. bitter fruit and shell minerals supporting. unusual. liked it.

Light. Citrus and herbal nose.

Pale straw color. Nose: kiwi, Asian pear, and white melon with accents of flint, sugarcane, and a light touch of vanilla. Lighter body on the palate: white melon, white peach, and Asian pear framed by coconut, vanilla, and orange blossom. Medium+ acidity. Lingering vanilla, pear skin, and orange blossom on the moderate/shorter finish. Attractive flavors, but somewhat hollow on the midpalate. Simple, refreshing seafood white.

Very light and dry despite it's color.

aromas: taste: subtle fruits, maybe some minerality other: light/med-bodied, strong acidity with soft flavors, easy to drink but difficult to unravel

Popped and poured. Nice citrus on nose and palate, good acidity, Held up to the spiciness of the Thai cuisine. A good food wine, but did not knock our socks off.
