Corsican Vermentinu is one of my favorite wines and this bottle will tell you why. A nose of flowers, warm honey, and herbs. The palate is sumptuous, creamy, and unctuous, redolent of beeswax and lychee, with haunting almond pastry on the long finish, backed by racy acidity. Glorious.
